Hello! and a very warm welcome, I am delighted that you have joined 'Bright Garden Blooms' beginner friendly course. In this module, I chat with you about what to expect from the course. I have designed it to be completed over a series of short and concise painting lessons around 30 minutes each. Take the course at your own pace. There is also a short platform navigation guide video.

In this Module, I will guide you through the supplies and tools I have used to create this course, I predominantly paint using a DIY stay-wet palette, and I have included a video on how I set this up there is also a short video of a ready made stay wet palette option with a lid. I have included videos to share how I prepare my paper and palette to have ready before each lesson.

I wanted to include this mini class as a practice lesson to help get into the painting flow and as a confidence builder before moving on to the main lessons. In this class we cover simple brush handling and brushstroke techniques to create petal shapes and textures. I encourage you to practice these and experiment with the effects. Enjoy!

I will be logged into the course platform Mon-Fri during the first 2 weeks from launch,  to be on hand to answer questions and respond to any comments. After the launch period, I will be available within the course platform 2-3 days during the week to respond to your questions and comments.
